You do a lot of out door shows?
Nooo, not that many I’m surprised. The last outdoor show I did was
the Jazz Festival up in Canada.
Yeah? How did you like that?
I love the out door ! Especially if it’s a Jazz festival.
That’s cool. So you liked the vibe out here today?
Oh yeah, this is great! It’s hard getting over to New York, because
I was touring in the South before Wednesday. We went for Georgia, North
Carolina, Texas, Timothy… hum… Nashville… We got in
[New York on] Wednesday and I’ve been working since. Friday we finished
our new CD, we’re doing a lot of new songs.
And what’s the next show you are going to do?
It’s called “Billionaire For Bush”.
Is it like an anti-Bush thing?
Anti-Bush thing, yeah.
What’s the biggest thing that bothers you about the whole
Bush thing?
To me it always boil down to solders getting killed, bring them home.
What are we there for? Why? Why is this? I know some people want us and
some people don’t, but it’s starting to feel like most of
them don’t and we’re getting the raw end ! – Look at
the price of gas. Why are we over there? There aren’t even trying
to explain things anymore. Why are we over there? It’s still about
political money… it’s a lie. This is just my opinion. I am
not trying to distort anyone’s perspective. That’s just how
I feel. It’s personal. That’s what hit me in my head.
You know what I did in Texas? In his nearest hometown I didn’t do
“the knock on the door,” act you saw today – I cut out
the part about “Bush, take this and push just a little Bush push.”
So there’s certain things I hold back, you know.
I guess it depends on the audience, you don’t want to
go crazy. You don’t want bottles on the stage or anything…
